Coach Holidays to Brittany

The historic walled city and port of St Malo was once home to France’s own fleet of ‘official’ pirate ships, whose profits created the foundation for the city’s legendary fortifications. Visitors now enjoy these spoils as they walk the ramparts which encircle the city, taking in the grand granite houses which line the narrow streets. Enjoy a visit to this beautiful port and why not take a cruise around the Bay of Corsair and estuary of the River Rance – simply stunning!

A stroll around Dinard is like taking a step back in time with its Belle Epoque villas and stripey beach tents. Acknowledged as the most British of the Bretan resorts, Dinard was popularised by wealthy celebrities and European royalty, who left a legacy of fabulous villas overlooking the sandy beaches.

One of the best preserved small towns in Brittany, Dinan is a medieval gem with its own ramparts, cobbled streets and half-timbered houses which sit alongside craft shops and superb restaurants. The old town is linked to the port of Dinan by the steep Rue du Petit Fort, which leads downhill to the quay overlooked by ancient stone houses and chandlers’ shops.
