The Restoration Theatre is the longest running feature at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show and offers visitors the opportunity to learn from expert mechanics and renovators.
Show Guests
The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show attracts it's fair share of motoring icons and celebrity motoring fans. Over the three days, we welcome special guests to the Wheeler Dealers Live Stage as well as those who just want to enjoy the cars and bikes like any other visitor.
Expect to see the likes of Sir Stirling Moss, Vicki Butler-Henderson, Ross Brawn, Chris Evans, Jools Holland, Guy Martin, Theo Paphitas, James May and many more. We are also thrilled to be visited by racing legends such as Rosemary Smith, Norman Dewis, Barrie Whizzo Williams, Barry Lee, and Mick Grant.
Dream Rides
What's your motoring passion.... a luxurious chauffeur driven tour for two in a Bentley? An historic style excursion in a Vintage Ford? A retro ride in a classic camper? Or do you hanker for a white knuckle ride out in a supercar?
The dedication and commitment of the Sporting Bears has seen them raise over £1million in donations from ‘Dream Rides,’ with the 2015 Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show alone raising over £55,000!
Last year, with the help of many private owners, 80-100 cars were on offer each day, with a whole selection of marques including Cobras, Ferraris, Maseratis, Porsches, GT40s, Jags, MGs, TR’s, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins and for those of a tender age we even had Noddy’s car!
