Arras & Vimy Ridge
We visit the town of Arras, scene of a British offensive fought from April 9th to May 16th 1917 and the Vimy Memorial, dedicated to the WWI Canadians who died or were presumed dead in France.

The Somme
Today a visit to the Somme, visiting Peronne, La Boiselle and Thiepval. One of the fortress villages held by the Germans in 1916, Thiepval is today the location for the memorial to the missing, to commemorate those who died in the Somme before the 20th March and have no known grave.
