DAY 1 SUNDAY – To Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais then we travel to the Metz area for an overnight in a select hotel.
DAY 2 MONDAY – Leaving Metz we journey to beautiful Lake Garda for a four night stay at a select three star hotel close to the shores of the lake.
DAY 3 TUESDAY – A day for you to relax and explore the delights of Lake Garda, situated at the foot of the Alps, Lake Garda is the largest Italian lake, surrounded by the Dolomites of Brenta in the north and the gentle slopes of the Morainic hills to the south, a rich vegetation flourishes here thanks to the Mediterranean climate, with lemon trees, oleanders, magnolias and bouganville.
DAY 4 WEDNESDAY – Venice
Today we travel to Venice, 'The Queen of the Adriatic', via a water taxi ride. With time to explore such gems as St Marks Square, the Rialto Bridge and the Venetian lagoons. Exotic shops, charming arcades and Venice's intricate network of canals - a wonderful mix within the world’s most adorned carnival city.
DAY 5 THURSDAY – Malcesine and Garda
A wonderful excursion today as we visit the charming town of Malcesine, with winding cobbled alleys leading to the water’s edge and to its thirteenth century castle, rising above the water and town. We continue to Garda town for breathtaking views of the southern reaches of Lake Garda, located in a huge sheltered bay with dramatic hills and mountains behind it, it has quaint narrow streets leading up from the lake and an abundance of shops and cafes.
DAY 6 FRIDAY – We bid farewell to Lake Garda and return to the Metz area for an overnight at a select hotel.
DAY 7 SATURDAY – We return to Calais for the ferry crossing to Dover then home.
