DAY 1 SUNDAY – To Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais then we continue through France for an overnight in a select hotel.
DAY 2 MONDAY – Leaving our overnight hotel we journey to beautiful Lake Garda for a four night stay at a select three star hotel close to the shores of the lake.
DAY 3 TUESDAY – A day for you to relax and explore the delights of Lake Garda, situated at the foot of the Alps, Lake Garda is the largest Italian lake, surrounded by the Dolomites of Brenta in the north and the gentle slopes of the Morainic hills to the south, a rich vegetation flourishes here thanks to the Mediterranean climate, with lemon trees, oleanders, magnolias and bouganville.
DAY 4 WEDNESDAY – Venice
The delights of Venice await on our fantastic excursion as we arrive by water taxi. With its intricate network of canals and wonderful gems including the Rialto Bridge, St Mark’s Square, the Grand Canal and Doge’s Palace, this magical city has many historic treasures to discover along with wonderful shops and cafes to enjoy.
DAY 5 THURSDAY – Malcesine and Garda
A wonderful excursion today as we visit the charming town of Malcesine, with winding cobbled alleys leading to the water’s edge and to its thirteenth century castle, rising above the water and town. We continue to Garda town for breathtaking views of the southern reaches of Lake Garda, located in a huge sheltered bay with dramatic hills and mountains behind it, it has quaint narrow streets leading up from the lake and an abundance of shops and cafes.
DAY 6 FRIDAY – We bid farewell to Lake Garda and return through France for an overnight stay at a select hotel.
DAY 7 SATURDAY – We return to Calais for the ferry crossing to Dover then home.
