1. Scarborough
Known as Britain’s “original seaside resort”, the beautiful town of Scarborough has been delighting holidaymakers of all ages for generations thanks to its sandy beaches, gorgeous scenery, family-friendly attractions, boutique shops and timeless seaside charm. Located on the stunning Yorkshire coast, the town’s distinctive Victorian architecture has helped to establish it as the classic image of British seaside getaways, where people ride donkeys and enjoy a delicious ice cream on the beach or stroll across landscaped coastal walkways, and it still features many of those traditional fixtures for visitors to enjoy today.

2. Liverpool
Home of The Beatles and the birthplace of pop music, there is so much to see and do in this world-famous city. Liverpool has it all; culture, shopping, art, music, diversity, and let’s not forget a certain sport known as football! The city also has a crazy number of galleries and museums, over 2,500 listed buildings, Europe’s largest open-air shopping complex, over five different shopping districts, and the famous Waterfront. At night many of the impressive buildings and iconic landmarks light up the Mersey River, including two metal Liver Birds, Bertie and Bella, who keep dutiful watch over the city.

3. Blackpool
When we think of classic British resorts, Blackpool is always one of the very first destinations that springs to mind. Nestled on the north-west coast, this coach holiday favourite ticks off first-rate amusements, world-famous attractions and miles of sandy beaches. And when it comes to a thrilling calendar of year-round events, Blackpool holds its own.
Beyond the sunshine and shoreline, you’ll spy the iconic Blackpool Tower (or the Eiffel Tower of the North, as we like to call it) which punctuates the skyline in all its glory next to the loop-the-loop silhouettes of Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach…pure postcard material!

4. Chester
The distinctive and beautiful city of Chester is encircled by an almost 2-mile ring of medieval and Roman walls. The most complete walled city in Britain, inside you’ll find the half-timbered two storey galleries known as ‘the Rows’ which house a blend of traditional shops and chic boutiques.
Chester is steeped in history with many ancient sights an easy short walk from the other including Chester Cathedral which boasts stunning views over Chester and North Wales from its tower, Chester Castle which was founded by William the Conqueror, and the stone-built Roman Amphitheatre which is the largest in Britain, with the ruins dating back to the 1st century!

5. London
London, home to the Tower of London, the London Eye, Big Ben, The Shard and Buckingham Palace. This glorious pick 'n' mix of old and new landmarks come together to form one of the most instantly recognisable cityscapes on the planet, but there are plenty of hidden gems to discover too.
Knots of cobbled alleys befuddled with historic pubs. Entire districts dedicated to razzle-dazzle musicals. A zen blend of riverside strolls, hide-and-seek canal paths and historic palaces roosting in peaceful pockets of leafy parkland. 6. Torquay
If you love holidaying in the UK but long for the charm of the Mediterranean, Torquay might be just the place for your next escape. Set along Devon’s stunning English Riviera, this classic seaside town offers a unique blend of British tradition and continental flair. 7. The Cotswolds
